"The Farm House" is a building at Knox Farms in East Aurora. Knox Farms has many out buildings, trees, paths and rolling hills. For this plein air painting I chose this particular place because the light seemed to skip across the grass, and the building added contrast to the to the fall colors. The foliage was full of oranges, yellows and warm and cool greens. Painting outside was so refreshing especially since it was probably the last nice day this Fall. It was such a relaxing afternoon.
